About

Consciously Clothed

In 2020 I was one of 108 people that took part in the UK’s first climate assembly, where participants learnt about climate change and how the UK can address it. Being in company with Sir David Attenborough was emotional and life changing. I was shocked and deeply upset to learn about the climate crisis we face and I soon discovered that it has never been more important that we all play a part to prioritise people and the planet.

I was shocked to learn about the environmental and social impacts of the fashion industry and that’s when I decided to commit to a long term relationship with clothes.

So here I am, steering my career in a different direction, focusing on something I really care about and making a difference in my local community. Having spent many years working in customer service, I am passionate about helping others and building long term relationships with my customers.

I look forward to helping you keep your clothes in circulation and make second hand fashion your first choice.

I’m immensely proud of the impact Consciously Clothed is having in my local community. I’m thrilled to have been selected as a finalist in the Tendring4Growth Business Awards, becoming a winner in the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Competition and making it onto Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur iAlso100 2024 list.

A unique, local and conscious service helping you to make clothes last longer.
